stop crying in the stanza, probably indicates the singer's act of consoling his woman of how some thing are not worth crying for...

welcome to the final show, and putting the best clothes.. he somehow ensure his beloved to embrace the hideous reality as its a sign of a time (the changing of values*)

you look pretty good down here, but ain't really good... this verse explain how she might always be beautiful in the singers' eyes, but not in the eyes of the people today, whom might portray decency as backwards...

 you cant bribe the door on your way to the sky.... now this line had things to do with death and how we couldn't control the journey of our soul... death

in the chorus stanza, singer saying that human often commit the same mistakes over and over again. 

the end is near and we gotta get away from here signifies how the singer sees the era of a hideous reality begin and beg his woman to leave this world (**refer).... as it is never a blissful world to live in anymore....

Breaking through the atmosphere  and things are pretty good from here ....now this part seems to show the singers' persuading his woman how death is somehow a better way to escape the current world.... and weird, the way he explains it, as if he is dead, and his soul came down consoling his beloved to join him, when he ensures, the other life looks better.... hurmmmm.....

we don't talk enough and should open up.... inculcating the right values are very important, and preserving it in is vital in creating a better life quality, yet dominations of self-centeredness and ignorant lifestyle had somehow left goodness to dry and die... and he continues...'will we ever learn'..... again, we makes the same mistakes....

sticking with modesty and more covers for women means oppressing....
